IP addresses
- Dedicated, not shared
- Every server gets its own IPv4 and a /64 IPv6 block, with no NAT.
- Turkish ranges
- Addresses come from several Turkish ranges, depending on availability. A specific range cannot be chosen in advance.
- Blocked IP? We replace it
- We check it ourselves; the first replacement is free and later ones cost $1, usually in under 30 minutes.
Network questions
Are any ports blocked?
No. Every port is open for TCP and UDP, including SMTP port 25, and there is no rate limiting under normal use. DDoS protection only steps in for attack traffic. In Frankfurt, outgoing port 25 is closed against spam: send mail through 587 or 465, or open a ticket to have it unblocked for your IP.
What if my IP is blocked?
Open a ticket without deleting the server. We check the IP ourselves and replace it if it is really blocked. The first replacement for a server is free, later ones cost $1. Most are done in under 30 minutes, at most in about 2 hours. Cancelling and re-ordering does not get you a new IP.
Can I use every address in my /64 IPv6 block?
The address assigned to your server works right away. Other addresses in the block are reserved for you but have to be activated first, so open a ticket with the addresses you need.
Do you have other locations?
Yes, two: our main Tier III data center in Istanbul, and Frankfurt, Germany. You pick the location on the order page, and one account and wallet cover both. Within Istanbul, new servers often land in a different IP range from your existing ones, but that is not guaranteed.
