How to start

  1. Order a plan

Choose Ubuntu for most games, or Windows for games that only ship a Windows server.

  2. Install the server

Use the game’s own dedicated server, SteamCMD, or a panel such as Pterodactyl.

  3. Share the IP

Give players your server IP and port.

Questions

Are any ports blocked?

No. Every port is open for TCP and UDP, including SMTP port 25, and there is no rate limiting under normal use. DDoS protection only steps in for attack traffic. In Frankfurt, outgoing port 25 is closed against spam: send mail through 587 or 465, or open a ticket to have it unblocked for your IP.

Are the vCPUs dedicated or shared?

Dedicated, on every plan. The cores are reserved for your server and not shared with other customers.

Can I upgrade later without changing the IP?

Yes. Upgrade to a bigger plan in the same series from the server page; you pay only the difference for the rest of the month and the IP stays the same. Downgrades are not available.

Can I test the network before buying?

Yes. Ping or traceroute our test IP 37.221.79.1 and download the test files on the network page.
